Elliot's Origin Story
Elliot Thompson grew up on a small quail farm in Springfield, Vermont, and learned filmmaking at a young age by creating short documentaries around the farm. He studied film production at Chapman University in Los Angeles before returning home to New England in 2021. Elliot is passionate about creating visual stories that evoke goosebumps or pull at your heartstrings. He loves pushing the envelope and strives to find the human connection in every project he takes on. He has worked as a director, cinematographer, colorist, and editor on feature films, short films, commercials, and branded content. Above all, he loves collaborating with talented people to create something truly special.
Fun Fact: Elliot is jealous of Zach’s ability to drive manual cars, but loves to ride around with him in his Subaru.
Zach's Origin Story
Zach Nelson grew up in a small town in Vermont. He got into making short skateboard films and sketches as a kid. When he went to college he trained as a photojournalist and studied visual communication at Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University. His experience at newspapers across the country helped to develop an understanding of how to tell stories in fractional moments. Along the way Zach got involved in commercial photo & video production, creative direction, and post production. Zach has worked as a producer, content creator, content strategist, video & podcast editor, and designer. All of these experiences inform how he works as a partner in collaboration.
Fun Fact: Zach is food motivated and makes sure Elliot remembers to eat.
